1About Quotely
Quotely is a software service that helps tradespeople and small businesses create, send, and manage quotes and invoices, schedule follow-ups, and optionally publish a public business directory listing. The service is designed for users in Ireland and the European Union.
Quotely is provided by Quotely, operated from Ireland. For questions about these Terms, contact support@quotely.ie.

3Your responsibilities as a business user
When you add customer contacts, send quotes, or use follow-up features, you act as the data controllerfor your customers' personal data. Quotely acts as your data processor, storing and transmitting data on your instructions.
You agree to:
- Collect and use customer contact details only where you have a valid lawful basis under applicable data protection law (for example, to prepare a quote at the customer's request).
- Confirm lawful basis in the app when adding new customers, as prompted.
- Respond to data subject requests from your customers where you are the controller.
- Ensure quote and invoice content you create is accurate and lawful.
- Not use Quotely to send unsolicited marketing, spam, or deceptive communications.

- Infringe intellectual property or other rights of third parties.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the service.
- Harass, defame, or mislead others.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service without permission.
- Process personal data you are not entitled to process.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or pose a risk to other users or the platform.
5Service description and availability
Quotely is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
Current features include, among others:
- Quote and invoice creation, sending, and tracking.
- Customer contact management (name and email, scoped to your account).
- Automated follow-up reminders and notifications.
- Optional public directory listing (opt-in only).
- Data export and account deletion tools in app settings.
Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events may affect availability. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate significant disruptions where practicable.
6Subscriptions and paid plans
Quotely may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans may be introduced or changed in the future, including purchases through the Apple App Store or other app store billing where applicable.
Where paid plans are offered, pricing, billing intervals, and cancellation terms will be shown before you subscribe. App store purchases are also subject to the relevant store's terms. Upgrades may require explicit billing consent recorded in the app.
We may modify plan features or pricing with reasonable notice, except where app store rules require a different process.
7Intellectual property
Quotely, its branding, software, and documentation are owned by Quotely or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you create (quotes, invoices, business details). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service.
8Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement explain how we handle personal data, including retention periods, subprocessors, and your rights. They form part of these Terms.
9Account termination
You may stop using Quotely at any time. You may request account deletion in the app under Settings → Privacy & data. Deletion removes your login and begins anonymisation of associated data within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision would create legal or security risk. Where reasonable, we will notify you before termination except in urgent cases.
